Trump Orders Declassification of Carter Page FBI Documents

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday declassified a trove of documents related to the early days of the FBI's Russian Federation investigation, including a portion of a secret surveillance warrant application and former FBI director James Comey's text messages.

With Donald Trump's decision on Monday to release texts from former FBI Director James Comes and 20 portions of a surveillance application on former campaign adviser Carter Page, Dan Metcalfe, there former co-director of Justice's Office of Information and Privacy, warns the president may be putting himself in legal jeopardy.

After months of requests, President Trump declassified a number of FISA court documents late Monday afternoon and directed the relevant government agencies to release them to the public.

Trump also ordered the Justice Department to release text messages from a number of the key players in the Russian Federation investigation "without redaction" - including former FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Ohr, Strzok and Lisa Page. Ohr is the only one of those listed who is still employed by the Trump administration. Mr. Trump also ordered that text messages from senior Justice. The documentation was characterized by the official as large, and the official also said that there is no time frame for the release.

Schiff said that Federal Bureau of Investigation and DOJ officials have previously told him they would consider declassification of such materials "a red line that must not be crossed" because they might compromise "sources and methods".

Browns close to trading Josh Gordon to Patriots
Coleman has played in 19 National Football League games with 18 starts and has 56 receptions for 718 yards and five touchdowns. The final straw for Cleveland came by way of Gordon injuring his hamstring at a promotional photo shoot, per Rapoport.

However, Republicans have called on Trump to release documents related to the Robert Mueller's probe for weeks, despite not knowing what the material actually contains.

Representative Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee, sharply criticized Trump.

"This is evidently of no effect to a President who cares about nothing about the country and everything about his narrow self-interest", Schiff said.

"The President shouldn't be declassifying documents in order to undermine an investigation into his campaign or pursue vendettas against political enemies", Warner said.
