Video Shows Harvey Weinstein Behaving Inappropriately With Woman During Business Meeting

Harvey Weinstein Accuser Releases Video of Creepy Business Meeting Before Alleged Rape

She tried to fight him and get away from him along the way but he kept blocking her way. Also in June, the website the Blast published a still image, pulled from a recording, of a meeting between Thompson and Weinstein in which the producer was said to have groped her.

The footage, which has never been broadcast before, shows him hugging, touching and making sexually suggestive comments to 28-year-old Melissa Thompson.

Thompson said Wednesday that she was trying to "save face" at first during the meeting. She said Weinstein led her to a hotel room and raped her.

Thompson tells Sky News that at one point in the meeting Weinstein reached his hand under the desk and put it under Thompson's skirt. "So am I allowed to flirt with you?" he then asks, as they sit down and prepare to start the discussion. "It's okay, would you like to do it some more?" he can be heard saying.

Weinstein "was not attractive in such a way that Paul Newman was", he said. "I had entered that fight-or-flight mode and I was scared of him". Dozens more women have accused him of sexual misconduct, assault, and rape. She thought he would close the technology deal over there; however, the situation spiraled out of her control when Weinstein invited her to his room.

"It wasn't an invitation to go to his hotel room". She recorded their meeting as part of the demo. I worked in Wall Street before I went to business school, and I worked in an environment that was heavily male dominated...

"Several respected journalists and trustworthy individuals have seen the entire video, as Ms. Thompson has been trying to promote it to for several months", Brafman's statement read, according to People.

FEMA official defends agency over stockpiled water bottles left in Puerto Rico
Earlier this week, after Mr Trump hailed the U.S. response in Puerto Rico as "tremendous" and " an incredible, unsung success ". As time went by it did not go up by much. "Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000".

Weinstein's lawyer told Sky that when the video is viewed in context, "it demonstrates that there is nothing forceful, but casual, if not awkward, flirting from both parties".

"Anything short of that is meant to make Mr. Weinstein appear inappropriate and even exploitative", lawyer Ben Brafman said.

Thompson's rape allegation is part of a class action lawsuit against the former Hollywood producer, whose career was toppled by a series of rape, sexual assault and harassment allegations previous year.

Thompson is a plaintiff in the class action suit against Weinstein, and back in June spoke to NBC News about her experience with Weinstein.

Weinstein, who wasn't even supposed to be at the meeting, denies that any non-consensual act took place. "This is a further attempt to publicly disgrace Mr Weinstein for financial gain and we will not stand for it. Facts do matter".

"Defendant moves to dismiss the indictment or counts thereof on various grounds of alleged defect or deficiency in the presentation of the matter to the grand jury", said Cyrus Vance Jr's office on Wednesday in a response to a sprawling and politically charged August 3 motion to dismiss from Weinstein's primary attorney Ben Brafman. They added that secret grand jury minutes provided to the judge showed they presented evidence "fairly and in a manner that was not misleading".
