World Cup victor Lloris fined $65,000 for drunk driving

Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray

France's World Cup-winning captain Hugo Lloris appeared in court in London on Wednesday over a drink-driving charge after a roadside breathalyser test reportedly caught him almost three times over the limit.

Henry Fitch, prosecuting, said that police in an unmarked auto spotted Lloris' vehicle driving at 15mph in a 30mph zone and veering "towards..."

"It was pure luck that you did not cause damage to other vehicles or pedestrians in the central London area".

Lloris, who was in goal when France beat Croatia in the World Cup final, admitted to the charge of drunk driving during a London court appearance on Wednesday.

He nearly hit several parked cars and then ran a red light.

Few expect Lloris to go to jail over his first drink-driving offence in England - but his club have promised to treat the entire matter "extremely seriously".

Design and Specifications of Google Pixel 3 got leaked
The Pixel 3 , meanwhile, hasn't been leaked this extensively but its photos too are easily available on the web. One Slashleaks forum member has uploaded some screenshots of the Device Setup page of the Google Pixel 2 XL.

"On July 15 he was arguably the proudest man on the planet (having captained France to a World Cup triumph)", Sonn was quoted as saying by the BBC.

It was reported at the time that Lloris had failed a roadside breathalyser test after a routine stop at around 2am, just three days before Spurs were due to face Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Mr Sonn also acknowledged his client's fall from grace after being arrested. He experienced the indignity of being handcuffed and put in a police station overnight.

"He's punishing himself. He feels so sorry and so bad because he knows that he made a big mistake".

Lloris, wearing a dark suit and no tie, was flanked by two members of his entourage as he made his way from his vehicle into the court, confronted by dozens of photographers and video journalists.

"This kind of risky behaviour is selfish, illegal and puts lives at risk".
