World Mental Health Day 2018: Raising awareness and combating stigma

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. Results from our Workplace Wellbeing Index show that 48 per cent of employees have experienced a mental health problem at their current job.

Investment by governments and the involvement of the social, health and education sectors in comprehensive, integrated, evidence-based programmes for the mental health of young people is essential.
