Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey open to top six Premier League move

Arsenal news Per Mertesacker

Ramsey will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January and has said in the past he's tempted by a move overseas but the midfielder will also have plenty of options if he decides to remain in England.

He has pointed to Liverpool and Manchester City as the two potential candidates for the title, not mentioning Chelsea despite keeping their second position place.

Ramsey is into the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium, with talks over a new deal having broken down.

United tried to sign Ramsey in 2008 and announced on their website they had agreed a deal with Cardiff for the then 17-year-old before he chose to join Arsenal.

Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter Milan also have designs on the midfielder - who can talk to foreign clubs in January - although the latter have made Luka Modric priority despite their failure to sign him last summer.

"I don't really know what is happening at Arsenal".

Liverpool and Chelsea target Aaron Ramsey is open to joining a "top six" club this summer, with the Blues watching his situation closely. These things were once my responsibility, but not any more.

Wenger signed Ramsey from Cardiff City for £4.8 million in 2008 and the Wales global has gone on to make 242 Premier League appearances for Arsenal, as well as twice scoring the victor in the FA Cup Final. "I am happy about that".

The north London side were 5-1 winners against Fulham at Craven Cottage earlier this month to produce their best performance under the former Sevilla boss so far.
