Minnesota Vikings regain control of season with key win over Eagles

Super Bowl hangover is real just look at the Eagles

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen became the first player to open a National Football League season with five successive 100-yard receiving games on Sunday.

According to ESPN's NFL Matchup, opposing quarterbacks are getting the ball out quickly against the Eagles, the secondary isn't covering and the numbers reflect it. The Eagles have been impacted by injury early and often to start the season, with star quarterback Carson Wentz, receivers Mike Wallace and Mack Hollins and running backs Corey Clement and Darren Sproles all missing time. Lane Johnson got beat-and beat badly-by Vikings' defensive end Stephen Weatherly, whose inside route collapsed the pocket from the edge and slammed right into Wentz.

Joseph's touchdown came with the score tied at 3-3 and the Eagles on the march, reaching the Vikings' 31.

This might sound like a repeated point from last week.

Joseph snatched Wentz's fumble out of the air and rumbled 64 yards for a touchdown to give the Vikings a 10-3 lead in the second quarter. But another illegal formation penalty followed and Wentz was called for intentional grounding. His last carry was a 6-yard run that was wiped out by a penalty in the fourth quarter, and there was no announcement of an injury.

Cornerback Ronald Darby's tackle on Roc Thomas for a 1-yard loss at the Eagles' 27 in the second quarter.

"With the offensive line that we have on this team, running the ball like that, that doesn't make sense to me".

And there's a possibility they want infrastructure, I want infrastructure, there's something that can bring us together", he said. Trump said, "we'll just have to fight it out, because there are a lot of haters, and they're just absolute haters".

It was a momentum killer as it appeared that the Eagles were going to get back into the game.

But Ajayi likely won't get in any hot water for questioning the play-calling: on Monday coach Doug Pederson said he agreed, and that the Eagles do need to run the ball more. Hopefully, that changes because if not, they will not be making a return to the postseason.

There just seems to be one important fact that the Eagles and their fans have seemed to forget-the National Football League didn't stop playing games after the Eagles won.

A Harrison Smith hit on 3rd-and-20, though, broke up Wentz's pass to Alshon Jeffery, forcing the Eagles to punt. We came back and tried to find a way to win this game and just came up short. Just like he showed in his debut, the young signal made sure to use his legs to pick yards and extends plays. Wentz finished completing 24 of 35 for 311 yards and two touchdowns. On the Eagles' first touchdown drive of the game, he threw for 50 yards and found Smallwood for a 12-yard touchdown reception.

The Vikings were on a two-game losing streak, and may have saved their season with a win, which improved their record to 2-2-1. He has at least 100 yards in all five games.

Wentz tossed a 12-yard touchdown pass to Wendell Smallwood, who benefited from the NFL's new catch rule because the ball came loose when he hit the ground.
