US Defence Chief Jim Mattis, "Sort Of Democrat", May Go: Donald Trump

Donald Trump and James Mattis

President Donald Trump dismissed rumors that Secretary of Defense James Mattis is set to depart his Cabinet, in a "60 Minutes" interview set to air Sunday night.

"I have a very good relationship with him".

"It could be that he is", planning to depart, Mr Trump told the 60 Minutes program on the U.S. network CBS, according to an excerpt of a transcript released ahead of the show's broadcast.

"I have some people that I'm not thrilled with", Trump said.

"I mean, at some point, everybody leaves", Trump said Sunday. "But General Mattis is a good guy, we get along very well".

President Trump on Saturday confirmed The Washington Post's Friday report that his administration is considering ways to legally revive its suspended policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the border.

The President also said that "Yeah, other people will go, sure".

Will Fiorentina continue the fight?
Another 16 goals brought Lorenzo Insigne, 13 goals went from Jose Callejon and 11 from Marek Hamšík. Forecasts Bookmakers consider Napoli as the main favorite - the coefficient for the victory of the hosts is 1.28.

The US president has given the clearest hints yet about rumors of his Pentagon chief's possible departure.

This marks the first time that the Republican President has publicly said anything negative about Mr Mattis, who last month told reporters not to take seriously reports that he may be leaving.

Asked by correspondent Lesley Stahl if Mattis is going to be leaving, Mr. Trump replied: "Well, I don't know".

In one episode reported by Woodward, Mattis described Trump as having the understanding of "a fifth- or sixth-grader" after a National Security Council meeting. "People leave. That's Washington".

Stahl noted the Trump administration has been marked with record turnover of staff. Trump said he has a "great cabinet", including people he's "not thrilled with" and others he's "beyond thrilled with".

Last week, his ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, announced her resignation, effective at the end of the year.
