Starbucks unveils new seasonal cups, treats and reusable cup initiative

First US sign language Starbucks opens

On Friday, November 2, Starbucks will unveil the 2018 holiday cups!

"We listened to our customers, ' said Roz Brewer, Starbucks" chief operating officer, according to CNN Business. They said they "loved the tradition of Christmas", she added. This year, the chain will offer limited-edition reusable holiday cups. You have to buy a holiday beverage, Delish said.

Every year, a social media frenzy usually revolves around the so-called Red Cup Season. Starbucks is one of the first out of the gate by releasing their delicious and addictive holiday drinks and also introducing a new twist to their famous Red Cups.

Inspiration: Starbucks made a decision to embrace the holiday spirit this year, CNN reports.

The final cup, the "Stargyle", features twinkling stars and interlinking diamonds, born from the illustration from Christmas Blend 1999 that showed a couple reaching up to place a star atop a holiday tree. Last year's cup "didn't resonate with some, [but] it did resonate with others".

This year, the company is strictly sticking with Christmas.

The new cups, along with a limited edition reusable cup (right), will be available starting November 2.

To accompany the drinks, Starbucks is also bringing back some old favorite holiday treats, including Iced Snowman Cookies and Peppermint Brownie Cake Pops, and releasing some new ones: Penguin Cake Pops, Pistachio Honey Croissants, Sugar Plum Cheese Danishes, and Chocolate Swirl Brioches.

Then, starting Saturday through January 7, customers who bring that cup back to Starbucks for a refill can get 50 cents off a grande holiday beverage.
