‘2.0’ records two-day box office collections of Rs 109 crore

The film, which is a sequel to Enthiran, collected Rs 64.06 crore nett all over India, which is little more than 50 per cent of what Bahubali - The Conclusion earned on its first day.

The Hindi version of 2.0 picked up pace at the box office as it entered the weekend, reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Director Shankar took to Twitter to express his happiness over the response to 2.0. Apparently, 2.0 will soon have its release in China where the film will be dubbed it to Chinese. In his tweet, he has mentioned that the film has managed to mint Rs. 18 crore on day 2.

Now as per the early trends, the movie witnessed a jump in figures on the third day (Saturday), by collecting around 55* crores NBOC and 70* crores GBOC. Rajinikanth will be seen reprising the role of doctor Vaseegaran and Chitti while Akshay will be making his South Indian cinema debut with an antagonist role.
