Samsung Smart TVs in 2019 to Support Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa

Magic mark: Amazon reveals for the first time, how many Alexa-devices are in circulation

LG smart TVs will let you run both Amazon routines and Google Assistant commands in one set, letting you get the best of both smart ecosystems without having to commit to just one. Of course, the major catalyst here is the fact that Google Assistant is available on every single Android smartphone that has Google services included (read: except China). The company said the number of smart devices that connect with Google Assistant increased more than 600 percent since a year ago. AI voice assistants are expected to dominate this year's CES, with smart homes fast becoming the norm in the US. Virtually everywhere you look, the Google Assistant is there.

Alexa will focus on becoming more conversational and generally less awkward to use. In the past year, it has rolled out features like Broadcast, allowing you to use the Assistant and its products as an intercom in your home.

The company expects Assistant to be available on one billion devices by the end of this month. Google will also be joining the ecosystem with products like Google Play, YouTube and Google Maps becoming compatible with Bixby.

Fiji Water Girl Steals The Show During Golden Globes Red Carpet
Sunday nights are home to some of the biggest award shows in Hollywood and the 2019 Golden Globe Awards ceremony is no different. When asked who they planned to party with after the show, Burnett and Carell continued with the jokes .

A year ago during CES 2018, Samsung made the headlines by announcing its 146-inch LED TV called "The Wall".

However, it's important to note that a not-insignificant chunk of those 1 billion devices includes Android smartphones that come with Google Assistant pre-installed. The company also showcased a smaller MicroLED panel at 75 inches, which would be a more practical and affordable setup for most homes. We're going to start talking more about that at Mobile World Congress, but definitely, there's a massive opportunity for voice interaction and assistive technology in those markets as well.
