Stefanski headed back to Cleveland for second interview

One likely reason that the Browns made a decision to keep Kitchens was because of his relationship with Baker Mayfield. Under the new leadership, the Browns went 5-3 to finish the season, while the offense and Baker Mayfield took off. With it being down to Kitchens and Stefanski, you'd have to wonder if the other is under consideration for offensive coordinator - and if so, is that a better job than the Vikings for Stefanski? Kitchens' play-calling energized rookie Mayfield, who finished with a rookie record 27 touchdown passes, with 19 of those coming when Kitchens was calling the plays.

The Browns are moving quickly through the interviews for head coaches, and today a report from Ian Rapaport of NFL Network says "to his understandings" that it's down to two, one of which will eventually lead the Browns into the future. Another source said the Browns already have decided they are keeping several assistant coaches.

What Apple's Tailspin Means For Oil Prices
The further trim of January's exports are expected to be felt mostly in the USA market. The global benchmark crude traded at an $8.61/bbl premium to WTI for the same month.

The Cleveland Browns have relieved interim head coach Gregg Williams of his duties, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. Stefanski was the only known candidate to receive a second interview, which came on Tuesday January 8.

Miscellaneous: Kitchens earned high school All-American honors and was named Mr. Football in the state of Alabama his senior season.
